TEACHER PEP TALK: The Ugly Truth About Teacher Work-Life Balance (Ep. 28)

Nov 29, 2022

Are you believing the lies everyone is trying to feed you about work-life balance? I know that I've subscribed to these lies in the past. We are so used to living in this fast-paced world that we can find it difficult to balance those scales and actually feel joyful about our life. Everyone makes it seem like in order to live your life you have to balance it all perfectly. What if I told you there was a method we could use to feel more fulfilled? If you have been on the treadmill of work-life balance, never making progress...you're going to want to listen to this episode.

In this episode, I am going to correct a phrase that I used in the past that isn't exactly accurate, expose the lies of work-life balance, bring you that truth, and give you that pep talk you may need to start changing the narrative of work-life balance.

These pep talk style episodes are my attempt to create a more authentic way for you to connect with me, for you to feel like you have support on your hardest days (even if and ESPECIALLY if you don't have that in your community or schools).   I also created this style in an effort to show you that you are not alone.  We are in this together and YOU ARE a RESILIENT TEACHER!
